I am an Expressive Arts/Play Therapist and am always creating new tools to use with my clients! Maybe you can use them too?
I am all about having fun and sneaking in those teaching moments! I get down on the kids level and am pretty "hip with the lingo" as I often have the same childish heart and interests as they do.
Lady Purple
Whenever I start with new clients, I tell them to simply refer to me as "the lady with purple hair" especially when they have trouble remembering my name. At this point, I even use it as my usernames for the games I play with clients or I go with "Lady Purple"!
